From La Grazi we headed to Livorno, just South of Pisa. A big port with lots of cruise ships. We managed to find a berth with a local company for 25 euro/night and after docking, jumped in the dingy to take a look around. Livorno has canals running through and around it like Venice, but not really so beautiful. It was interesting to see though and we finally manage to find a restaurant we could tie the dinghy to and ate just before sunset. Next day we picked up a hire car to drop Pat and Christine at the Pisa airport and we continued on for some sightseeing and groceries ready to head for Elba the next day. a busy morning returning the car, refuelling, cleaning and we were off!
